For those of you who don't know, I am a huge Jason Mraz fan. And, for those of you who do know, I am a huge Jason Mraz fan. Ever since his first album, "Waiting for My Rocket to Come", I have stood by loyally, waiting for anything new to come from this master musician. His two newest singles "I Won't Give Up on Us" and "The World as I see It" are both mixtures between "I'm Yours" and "Life is Wonderful." Both could be described as semi-upbeat pop tunes that focus on love. If you've heard his latest album "We sing. We dance. We steal things." then these recent singles wouldn't come as much of a surprise. The big shocker came from his new EP "Life is Good" that was released in October 2011. When I pressed play I was expected to hear some more of the pop-love songs that he has been known to write in the past few years. However, I was pleasantly surprised to hear something with a reggae undertone. It is always nice to hear something new from artists. To find out that they are capable of developing something different that what they usually do. Jason Mraz has always been one to spice things up. With every new album he would add a new sound to his repertoire. I encourage you to listen to his newest singles and EP to hear the newest sound from Jason Mraz. Just like me
P.S. This is my first real post so of course it is going to be terrible. I am still trying to find my niche and writing style since I am only used to writing essays for school. It may take awhile for me to get there, but if you could please be patient and continue to read my blog. If you could even give me some suggestions on what to include in my posts! Thanks!
